The first person of interest was described as a man with short, dark hair and facial hair, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt underneath a black jacket. The second person of interest was described as a man with short, dark hair, wearing a black shirt with Art the Clown on it and a silver chain necklace. "My heart breaks for the victims and for everyone impacted by this senseless violence. Our community deserves to feel safe, and we will not accept this kind of violence in Boulder," Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn wrote in a statement.
